Hi, I am a graduate student in Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University, where I am fortunate to be advised by Professors Srinivasa Narasimhan and Aswin Sankaranarayanan. Previously, I obtained my bachelor's degree in computer science with the highest honor from Zhejiang University, where I am grateful to be advised by Professors Yingcai Wu, Jake Zhao, and Chunhua Shen.

My research focuses on computational imaging, computer vision and graphics, motivated by applications including robotics and medical imaging. I am fascinated by the physical world beyond the trichromatic abstraction of RGB pixels, and my long-term goal is to build super-human visual intelligence along three axes: advanced cameras and imaging systems; physics-based models of light transport and material properties; and data-driven priors. My recent work studies the ubiquitous interplay of light and heat from an energetics perspective, and explores how thermal cameras can enable novel vision and imaging capabilities. Previously, my undergraduate work focused on visual generative models and AI/VR for sports.
